X-Zone 5500 Area multi gas monitor of gas detection
X-Zone 5500 Area multi gas monitor of gas detection
In combination with the Dräger X-am 5000, 5100, or 5600 portable gas detectors, the X-zone 5500 area multi gas monitor can measure up to six gases simultaneously from a wide range of sensors: detection of explosive gases, AsH3, B2H6, Br2, Cl2, ClO2, CO, CO2, F2, H2, H2O2, H2S, HBr, HCl, HCN, HF, HNO3, NH3, N2H4, NO, NO2, O2, O3, PH3, SiH4, SO2, and organic vapors.
Area monitoring beacon for the detection of up to 6 gases simultaneously (explosive and toxic gases and organic vapors)
360° gas entry, 120 dB audible alarm, red LED light alarm
External 100/240 V charger (universal) or contactless induction charger
Up to 25 X-zone 5500 beacons can be wirelessly interconnected
ATEX (zone 0), IECEc, CSA/UL approval
Additional information
Easy to carry, rugged, and waterproof, the X-zone 5500 area multi gas monitor of gas detection can measure from 1 to 6 gases simultaneously in combination with the X-am 5100, X-am 5000, and X-am 5600 portable detectors. It is a patented combination for increased safety: in addition to portable devices for personal monitoring, these area monitoring devices can be put where hazardous gases are likely to be present.
Visible from a great distance, the green LED light ring indicates that the air is free of hazardous gases. In the event of gas detection, the LED color changes to red and the loud 120 dB horn complements the light signal.
Up to 25 X-zone 5500 construction site monitors can be interconnected to form a wireless protective barrier. This monitoring device allows you to secure large areas quickly. In the event of a gas alarm, the area gas monitor transmits the signal to all interconnected units. A red master alarm light flashes on the gas detector, which contrasts with the red/green lights flashing on the connected units to easily identify the location of the hazard.
