Gas detectors & PPE class 3 "included maintenance" version
GazDetect's "Included maintenance" solution is a simple and economical concept. It consists in managing the periodic checks of portable gas detectors, worksite beacons, and class 3 PPE (respiratory protection equipment, fall protection, and chemical protective clothing) for two or three years following the models during their acquisition. This concept is an "all-inclusive" version adapted to gas detection and respiratory protection where EVERYTHING is included, even the return transport of the device.

Whatever the sensor technology of gas detection (catalytic sensors, infrared cells, electrochemical, semiconductor, or photoionization lamp), it is essential to periodically check the proper functioning of these cells by regular calibrations and gas tests.
The maintenance solution included 2 or 3 years (depending on the model) adapted to the periodic verification of portable gas detectors and area monitoring beacons (are monitors) is declined in the following way:
- Back to our premises (workshop return) every 180 days of the device
- Visual control of its condition:
- Calibration of the detector with the calibration gas and drafting of a calibration certificate
- Possible recalibration of the measuring cells in case of saturation or other problems
- Loan of an equivalent device in case of prolonged immobilization by our rental service (very long supply of a spare part, delicate repairs with the return to the manufacturer, etc.)
- No labor costs for repairs or replacement of cells out of warranty (deterioration by gas saturation)
- Shipping costs included for the return of the device
After 2 or 3 years, it is possible to renew the maintenance contract for two or three more years (and so on) for an almost identical cost.

Maintenance of Class 3 PPE
Class 3 PPE includes respiratory protective equipment such as full face masks, powered ventilation devices, SCBAs (self-contained breathing apparatus), type 1 chemical protective clothing (gas-tight), and fall protection equipment (safety harnesses, fall arrest lanyards, tripods, etc.). They are subject to strict safety standards, must be monitored before each use, and be checked once a year.
The 2 or 4-year maintenance included solution, depending on the model, is a simple and economical concept adapted to the maintenance of class 3 PPE and is available in the following way depending on the type of personal protective equipment:
Gas mask maintenance included
Annual periodic inspection for 2 or 4 years of the complete mask in our premises (workshop return):
- Machine washing with a detergent and disinfectant product
- Verification of the pressure and leakage parameters on a control bench
- Individual bagging of the mask guarantees that it is clean and healthy
- Drafting of a verification report
- No labor costs for repairs or replacement of worn parts (exhalation valve, acoustic membrane)
- Shipping costs included for the return of the mask

Assisted ventilation device maintenance included
Annual periodical control for 2 or 4 years of the motor only in our premises (workshop return):
- Verification of the flow and pressure parameters
- Drafting of a verification report
- No labor costs for repairs or replacement of worn parts

Insulated breathing apparatus maintenance included 3 years

Chemical protective suit maintenance included
- Annual periodic inspection for 2 or 4 years of the chemical protective suit type 1 (gas-tight) NOT USED only at our premises (return to workshop) and for Dräger equipment:
- Visual inspection of the suit
- Verification of the pressure and leakage parameters on a test bench
- Drafting of a verification report

Fall protection equipment including maintenance
Annual periodic verification of fall protection equipment for 2 or 4 years only in our premises (return to workshop):
- Thorough visual inspection of the equipment (safety harness, fall arrest, automatic webbing or cable retractor, safety tripod, etc.)
- Drafting of a verification report
