X-am 5600 Portable multi gas detector (up to 6 gases)

The portable multi gas detector X-am 5600 detects up to 6 gases simultaneously thanks to an innovative combination of infrared sensors (for explosive gases and CO2) with DrägerSensor XXS electrochemical sensors for the detection of AsH3, B2H6, Br2, Cl2, ClO2, CO, CO2, F2, H2, H2S, HCN, NH3, NO, NO2, O2, O3, PH3, SiH4, SO2, organic vapors, and amines.

Thanks to their high measurement stability, resistance to contamination, and long shelf life of up to 8 years, the Dräger infrared sensors compatible with the portable multi gas detector X-am 5600 allow explosive or flammable hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide (CO2) measurement with high accuracy.

Its rubber housing provides increased impact resistance, and its high ingress rating (IP67) makes it waterproof and dustproof. The X-am 5600 multi gas detector features a 90dB audible, illuminated, and vibrating alarm to alert users to gas hazards. Moreover, its built-in data logger can save measured values for later analysis of incidents.

An optional external sampling pump can be employed for access clearance measurements in tanks, manholes, or confined spaces. The X-am 5600 detector can be combined with the Dräger X-zone 5500 monitor to perform zone monitoring (gas detection monitor) in large areas. This interesting Dräger concept gives the possibility for the same device to be used as a stand-alone handheld device or as an area monitor.
