The portable multi gas detector X-am 5000 can measure up to 5 gases at the same time. Compact and lightweight, it is easy to wear on a belt or directly on the collar to measure the user's inhaled gas concentrations as closely as possible. A rubber shell and high ingress protection (IP67) make it waterproof and dustproof. Shockproof and vibration-proof, it is also suitable in the harshest environments.
A sampling pump (optional) allows remote sampling (up to 30 meters) to ensure the presence or absence of gas before any intervention in confined spaces, for example. The pump starts automatically as soon as the detector is set up and the switch from diffusion mode to pump mode is done quickly, easily, and without tools.
Equipped with a powerful 90dB audible alarm, flashing LED lights, and a vibrating alarm to alert users in case of danger, the X-am 5000 gas detector meets safety requirements, even in very noisy environments. Its built-in data logger can store up to 1,000 hours of data at one-minute intervals.
The X-am 5000 portable multi gas detector is compatible with the Dräger X-zone 5500 monitor for area monitoring (area gas monitor). This is an interesting concept from Dräger where the same device can be used as a single handheld device or as an area monitoring device.
