SonicView X
The SonicView X is a fixed acoustic imaging system for continuous 24/7 gas leak monitoring in industrial and ATEX environments. It detects, locates and instantly estimates leak rates up to 20 m without calibration gas. IP65 rated, Ethernet, OPC-UA and PoE connectivity.
- 24/7 continuous gas leak monitoring
- Detection up to 20 m with a 180° angle
- No calibration or span gas required
- Intelligent alerts based on location, intensity, and duration
- Industrial communication: Ethernet, OPC-UA, RTSP
- 24 VDC or PoE 802.3at power supply
SonicView X – Fixed 24/7 Gas Leak Detection System
The SonicView X is a fixed acoustic imaging system designed for continuous gas leak monitoring in critical industrial environments. Operating 24/7, it transforms traditional leak detection into intelligent automated monitoring.
Advanced Ultrasonic Detection Without Chemical Sensors
Using an ultrasonic microphone array combined with an optical camera, the system detects the sound generated by pressurized gas leaks, regardless of gas type. Unlike concentration-based detectors, it requires no calibration gas.
Real-Time Localization and Leak Rate Estimation
- The system analyzes:
- Exact leak position
- Acoustic intensity
- Event duration
- Estimated leak rate
Detection range reaches 20 meters with a 180° detection angle
Intelligent Alerts and Video Log
Alerts are configurable through a secure web interface and can be based on leak location, rate or duration. Incidents are stored in a timestamped video log for traceability and corrective action tracking.
Industrial Connectivity and Integration
- Supports:
- Ethernet
- OPC-UA
- RTSP video stream
- Dual relay outputs
Powered via 24 VDC or PoE 802.3at, max 20 W consumption
Industrial Applications
- Recommended for:
- Refineries
- Petrochemical plants
- Industrial gas installations
- Critical compressed air systems
- Power plants
- Offshore platforms
- ATEX areas requiring permanent monitoring
Compliance and Rugged Design
IP65 rated, compliant with IEC/EN 61010-1, EMC, RED, RoHS III, ATEX/IECEx pending approval. Operating temperature: -20 °C to +50 °C.
