Spyglass IR3-H2 hydrogen or methanol flame detector
The Spyglasss IR3-H2 is a triple-wavelength (IR3) hydrogen flame detector designed to detect non-hydrocarbon fires. It detects methanol or hydrogen fires at long range with unequalled response time, while guaranteeing very high immunity to false alarms. As an option, it can be fitted with a high-definition video system.
Optical hydrogen flame detector with a range of up to 30 meters
Extremely fast response time of 40 ms in the event of explosion or rapid fire
Relay and analog outputs, MODBUS or HART communication optional
Optional near-infrared video for "invisible" hydrogen fires
ATEX, IECEx, FMus, FMc, UKEX and SIL2 certified
Additional information
The Spyglasss IR3-H2 hydrogen flame detector is a new generation of IR3 detector featuring new algorithms with unrivalled response time. It can be fitted with an optional near-infrared video device to detect flames invisible to the naked eye, such as hydrogen fires, for faster response and decision-making.
The Spyglass IR3-H2 can also detect methane and methanol fires, as well as ammonia, silane, arsine and phosphine fires, and fires arising from new energy transition processes. It is ATEX, FM and SIL2 certified, and offers first-rate performance in terms of both response time and detection area.
