X-PID 9500 Chromatograph Detector, VOC selective measurement -

The Dräger X-PID 9500 is the first ever chromatograph detector with selective VOCs measurement (Volatile Organic Compounds). It has been built on gas chromatography (GC) and photoionization lamp (PID) detection technologies basis. It provides laboratory-like test results for benzene and many other carcinogenic substances.

  • Selective VOC measurement for accurate and precise analysis of volatile organic compounds (benzene, butadiene & carcinogens)
  • Reliable performance and analysis results worthy of laboratory tests
  • Measuring unit with sampling pump up to 10 meters
  • Quick and easy to set up
  • ATEX, IECEX, RoHS, CE approval
Additional information

Most PID sensors on the market indicate the total VOC concentration without discriminating between gases. The Dräger X-PID 9500 is based on an innovative technology that allows selective VOC measurement in seconds with laboratory quality results at low concentrations.

The ATEX-certified Dräger X-PID 9500 consists of a measuring unit with a gas sampling pump and a control unit (explosion-proof smartphone) with an application that controls the measuring unit and the data processing. This sophisticated technology is accessible to a broad group of users and requires no prior knowledge or special training.

Main VOC detected* with PID cell: Acetylene (C2H2) - Benzene (C6H6) - Dimethylethylamine or DMEA (C4H11N) - Ethanol (C2H6O) - Ethylene (C2H4) - Ethylene oxide (C2H4O) - Isobutylene (C4H8) - Methyl acetate (C3H6O2) - Perchloroethylene (C2Cl4) - Styrene (C8H8) - Toluene (C7H8)
