Compact, lightweight, and highly durable, the X-am 5800 is IP68 certified, tested to withstand drops of up to 2 meters, and can be operated while wearing gloves thanks to its large buttons. Its clear, readable display and optional green D-light LED ensure optimal user comfort. It can operate in diffusion mode or with an external pump (up to 45 meters of tubing), without tools, and is fully compatible with accessories from the X-am 2500/5000/5600 series.
Its battery life reaches up to 24 hours with Bluetooth enabled, and several days without the Ex sensor. Fast recharging (under 4 hours), and a user-replaceable lithium-ion battery add to the device’s flexibility.
In terms of safety, it offers a multi-signal alarm system (sound >90 dB, visual, and vibration), continuous self-monitoring, customizable alarm thresholds, as well as a motionless alarm and manual alarm.
Thanks to Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, data is automatically transmitted to Dräger Connect, ConHub, or to the cloud via the X-dock station. This enables centralized fleet management, remote software updates, and automatic report generation.
