Additional information

Two types of Nuclear / Reactor filters are available for Iodine-131 prevention, the A2-P3 Reactor filters (organic vapors, radioactive particles, Iodine-131, and methyl iodide) and A2B2E2K1-P3 Reactor filters (organic and inorganic vapors, acids, ammonia and its derivatives, radioactive particles, Iodine-131 and methyl iodide).

Two major manufacturers of respiratory protection equipment offer Nuclear / Reactor filters in the DIN40 version: Spasciani Rd40 filters compatible with TR 2002 and TR82 full face masks and Dräger X-plore filters. Due to their universality, these filters are also compatible with most EN 148-1 approved gas masks (40 mm universal thread).
