Ventis MX4 Portable 4-gas detector, 4 year warranty
Ventis MX4 Portable 4-gas detector, 4 year warranty
The Ventis MX4 portable 4-gas detector is very popular with confined space workers (see CATEC training). It detects explosive gases (0-100% LEL), lack of oxygen (O2), carbon monoxide (CO), and hydrogen sulfide (H2S). It can be used in diffusion mode or remote gas sampling mode with the optional VSP clip-on pump.
ATEX 4-gas detector: Explosive gases (0-100% LEL), O2, CO, H2S, NO2 or SO2 sensors too
95 dB audible, visual and vibrating alarms for two thresholds, STEL and TWA (Threshold Limit Value and Average Exposure Value)
Very robust, shockproof, water and dust resistant (IP66 and IP67
Small and compact: first multi-gas detector of the size of a single gas
Optional VSP clip-on pump for remote gas sampling up to 30 m
Additional information
The Ventis MX4 portable 4-gas detector is a very compact and resistant device, and it is available in two colors (black or orange). It has the weight and dimensions of a single gas detector and can be clipped close to the respiratory tract without causing any discomfort. Its rechargeable Li-ion battery has an autonomy of about 12 hours.
Waterproof and dustproof with its overmolded polycarbonate shell, the Ventis MX4 4-gas detector complies with ATEX standards (explosive atmospheres). Robust and versatile, we find it in sanitation, confined space interventions (CATEC training), and the gas or oil industries.
The Ventis MX4 can be equipped with the VSP slide-on-pump (optional) to take gas samples from a distance (up to 30 meters) before entering confined spaces (sewers, wells, manholes, tanks, etc.) or for leak detection. Switching from diffusion mode to pump mode is quick, easy, and tool-free.
