MIDAS Gas detector with sampling pump

The MIDAS is a gas detector with an integrated sampling pump for exotic rare gases detection. It detects: AsH3, B2H6, BCl3, BF3, Br2, C2H4O, Cl2, ClF3, ClO2, CO, COCl2, F2, GeH4, H2, H2S, H2Se, HBr, HCl, HCN, HF, HMDS, N2H4, NH3, NO, NO2, O2, O3, PH3, POCl3, Si2H6, SiCl4, SiHCl3, SO2, TEOS, TMB, TMP, WF6.

  • Wide range of "rare" toxic gases detectable at low concentration levels
  • Integrated suction pump system: flow rate 500 ml/min
  • Pyrolysis module for fluorinated gases: C4F6, C5F8, CH3F, DCE 1.2, NF3, SF6
  • 3 configurable NO or NC alarm relays for control and 4-20 mA output
  • Ethernet (PoE) TCP/IP and Modbus communication
Additional information

The Midas is compact and has a zinc-plated steel base, making it easy to install.

Small, compact, and lightweight, the MIDAS gas detector with a sampling pump is ideal for applications such as light industry, laboratories, semiconductor processing, and wastewater treatment. Its pump system allows sampling distances of up to 30 meters. An optional pyrolyser module allows the detection of fluorinated gases such as C4F6, C5F8, CH3F, DCE 1.2, NF3, SF6.

Its backlit alphanumeric LCD with intuitive icon-based controls allows for the display of concentrations and the unit setting. Smart sensor cartridges with built-in calibration certificates are ready to use. They can be thus easily and quickly replaced. Its integrated data logger allows the retrieval of measurements and events.

The Midas fixed gas detector has 3 relays (Alarms 1 and 2, Fault) for control purposes (e.g. sirens signals and alarm systems), a 4-20 mA analog output, and an Ethernet TCP/IP communication port.
