Additional information
The Honeywell OmniPoint™ is a next-generation fixed multi-gas transmitter designed for the continuous detection of toxic gases, flammable gases and oxygen in hazardous industrial environments. Intended for fixed gas detection installations, it meets the requirements of sites classified to ATEX, IECEx, UL and CSA standards.
Thanks to its multi-sensor capability, OmniPoint™ can manage up to three sensors simultaneously, combining XP technologies (infrared or catalytic) and XPIS electrochemical sensors. This flexibility enables precise adaptation to industrial applications such as refineries, petrochemical sites, hydrogen storage facilities, power plants and wastewater treatment stations.
Its circular color touchscreen combined with a multicolor LED status ring provides immediate visibility of system status, including normal operation, fault conditions, alarms and communication activity. The absence of magnets simplifies installation and significantly reduces maintenance time.
Hot replacement of sensor cartridges directly on site and without power shutdown represents a major advantage for operational continuity and maintenance cost reduction. OmniPoint™ integrates easily into existing architectures thanks to its 4–20 mA analog outputs, configurable relays and industrial communication protocols.
Robust, scalable and built to last, OmniPoint™ stands out as a reference solution for gas detection applications in hazardous areas, fully aligned with the maintenance and support services provided by GazDetect.
