Additional information

With its 6kg weight (excluding self-contained breathing apparatus) and optional shoulder straps, this chemical protective suit is designed for comfortable wearing during use. The Dräger CPS 6800 is an ergonomic suit in Umex (resistant, light and flexible material) available with its fixed boots and with full mask or face cuff.

To optimize comfort, suspenders are also available as an option. This protective equipment is equipped with a PT 120 L control valve. This integrated valve allows the suit to be connected to various breathing air sources and (optionally) to ventilate the interior of the equipment.

The Dräger chemical suit complies with the most demanding international and European standards (EN 943-1: 2002, EN 1073-½, EN 14126: 2003, EN 14594: 2005, EN 14594: 2005, ISO 16602: 2007, SOLAS) for protection against radioactive particles, infectious agents, and concerning the use of chemical and gas-tight suits.

The CPS 6800 chemical hazmat suit has been tested according to DIN EN ISO 6529: 2003-01 (with a permeation rate up to 1.0 μg / cm3 / min) against ammonia, chlorine, caustic soda 40%, and n-heptane. It has a breakthrough time over 480 minutes and thus provides maximum protection over long periods of use.
