Digital gas transmitter ATEX KwikSense

The KwikSense is a digital gas transmitter ATEX dedicated to the detection of flammable gases, toxic gases, and volatile organic compounds. It has a digital display, 4-20mA and MODBUS outputs, and alarm relays for the detection of the gases Br2, C2H2, C2H3Cl, C2H6O, C3H8, C4H10O, C6H6, CH3OH, CH3SH, CH4, CH2O, Cl2, CO, CO2, COCl2, CS2, ETO, GPL, H2, H2O2, H2S, HCl, HC, HCN, HF, NH3, NO2, O2, O3, PCl3, PH3, POCl3, SO2 & COV.

  • Digital gas transmitter ATEX for the detection of explosive, toxic and asphyxiating gases, and VOC
  • Digital display and three-color LEDs to indicate detector status
  • Rugged, explosion-proof housing with cast aluminium alloy
  • 4-20mA, MODBUS, and 1 or 3 relay outputs depending on model
  • Excellent value for money with many accessories available
Additional information

With more than 50 different sensors, the KwikSense digital gas transmitter allows the monitoring of a wide range of gases. It uses several sensor technologies: catalytic (for explosive gases), electrochemical (for toxic gases), infrared (for CO2 or some explosives), or PID (for volatile organic compounds) with several measurements’ ranges per gas.

With a 2-line OLED display, three status LEDs, analog output, and digital output as standard, the KwikSense digital gas transmitter ATEX can be configured non-intrusively using magnetic magnets or on a PC with its configuration and parameter setting software.

Two versions are available:

  • The KwikSense: 3 alarm relays and plug-n-play smart sensor technology allow any sensor to be swapped onto the transmitter.
  • The KwikSense Lite: an 'economy' version with the same sensors but without the ability to swap them and with only one alarm relay.

A simple magnet enables the KwikSense gas detector's non-intrusive buttons to operate. This function, very useful in ATEX areas, allows carrying out a complete configuration and calibration of the transmitter without opening the unit's housing. The KwikSense device can be used either as a stand-alone detector or can be connected to a gas detection controller or a safety controller.
