Half gas masks:
Half masks are able to protect the respiratory tracts (nose and mouth). The bellows sections at the nose and chin absorb movement to ensure the seal is not disrupted during use.
Lighter and more comfortable, these masks have thinner filters than those used on full face masks. Those characteristics make them ideal for working life and precision.
Cheap, this equipment is the first level of respiratory protection against particles and is also able protect workers against gases not irritating to the eyes.
Full face gas masks
Full face masks are also called panoramic masks because they incorporate a wide panoramic visor to maximize the field of vision (98 % visibility).
Heavier than half masks, they are also safer because they protect the respiratory tracts and the eyes. Their filters are able to protect workers from particles and gases.
And a good burden sharing makes this mask as convenient as the half one.
Twin cartridge gas masks efficiency
Our Pro2 range of cartridge filters has individual covers to maximize working life by protecting the filter media from splashes, sparks and contaminants. They are fully EN approved to the latest standards, marked ‘R’ for re-usable, CE marked, and connect via a locking bayonet mechanism.
Because the filters are thinner and lighter than those used for single filter masks, the carbon contained in them is also smaller. Consequently the breakdown time is less important.
They are class 1 gas filters and are efficient to protect from particles (around 80 % of aerosols). In order to select the right filter, please visit our page untitled “select your mask filter”.
